Meet Nico de Jong
After a decade working at large Intellectual Property law firms, Nico de Jong founded Loft Legal in 2015.
"With a background in science, I knew before I went to law school that intellectual property was a growing and exciting area of law that I wanted to be a part of. Studying intellectual property law at Otago University fuelled my interest and led to my first job at Bell Gully, one of New Zealand's largest law firms.
I went on to work at two specialist intellectual property firms, Hudson Gavin Martin and Wrays Lawyers, covering a broad range of intellectual property related legal services across New Zealand and Australia and further abroad, before launching Loft Legal.
